Kush Test Dummies is a collection of different jams recorded at Pausenraum Studio in Berlin between 2015 and 2022.

Nights and days (and nights again) trying to develop a way of playing together, discovering our sound while improvising on the spot.

This album is an impression of a very important experimental stage in the band's developing phase, that not only represents the music but also the people involved in making it, and the studio being the test lab for this to happen.

One of the usual suspects is our friend Vincius Vallorani, a fundamental influence on the way we perceive our craft and the philosophy behind it in particular.
He is also the mind behind Margherita, the wicker human sized doll on the cover of the album. She lived at our studio for many years before mysteriously disappearing…

The album expands from a club groove oriented matrix and lays on top droning atmospheres using all kinds of instruments from guitars and live percussion to drum machines, samplers, synths and vocoders. The idea behind is the creation of a flexible musical playground in which improvisation can take place in a completely open structure.
These tracks represent the inception of this approach, which is the core of every Triptease live performance.
